KUKA Systems North America LLC named Mid-States Bolt & Screw Co.’s Shelby Township branch as its 2013 Supplier of the Year in the mechanical commercial category, president Scott Somers announced.
Kuka’s purchasing department considered multiple suppliers based on annual sales and performance measurables such as on time delivery, pricing and cost savings as key factors in selecting top suppliers in four commodities.
Kuka’s award panel felt Mid-States went “above and beyond” as their MRO & fastener supplier for their vendor managed inventory.
“[Mid-States] has opened 4 new facilities [crib sites] this year, working tirelessly to get them up and running by the required date,” according to Kuka. Mid-States is “readily available every time we call…”
