Jason Sandefur
Increased sales to the U.S. military helped Aviall Inc. report that revenue for the fourth quarter of 2003 rose 19% to $261.5 million, while Q4 gross profit grew 14% to $43.4 million. Both airline and general aviation product sales contributed to revenue growth with small year-over-year increases.
CEO Paul Fulchino credited Avialls continuing high marks for customer and supplier satisfaction and expanded presence in the military – and defense-related aircraft parts arena for the gains in revenue and profit.
For 2003, net sales increased 26% to $1.01 billion, while gross profit improved 8% to $169.6 million. Web: aviall.com 2004 FastenerNews.com
