Monogram Aerospace Fasteners Receives Boeing Award
Corporate parent TriMas Corp. announced that its Monogram Aerospace Fasteners business has received a 2009 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.
Los Angeles-based Monogram maintained a minimum Silver composite performance rating from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009.

Monogram supplies many types of titanium screws to Boeing, which are used in the 787 Dreamliner commercial passenger jet, as well as in Boeing’s existing aircraft programs. In addition, Monogram supplies a new, one-sided installation bolt to Boeing for use on the Dreamliner.
Based in Bloomfield Hills, MI, TriMas owns Monogram Aerospace Fasteners as part of its Aerospace and Defense segment, which reported sales declined 14% to $56.53 million during the first nine months 2009, with operating profit dipping 17% to $18.4 million.
