Monogram Aerospace Received ISO 14001 Certification

TriMas Corporation announced its Monogram Aerospace Fasteners business received ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard.

“ISO 14001 certification is globally accepted as the Environmental Management System standard, providing a systematic approach to controlling environmental hazards and reducing the risk of accidents, while improving business practices and processes,” Monogram president David Adler said. “This certification is a validation of Monogram’s continued focus on the environment and commitment to the highest standards of quality management.”
The EMS was developed using the same focus as Monogram’s current process-based Quality Management System (QMS) template. The process illustrates correlations between recyclable, renewable and non-renewable resource inputs and outputs, applicable environmental regulations, assigned job functions and associated work procedures.

Monogram is already certified to the AS9100 Rev C and the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standards.
