Motor City Industrial named Joe Stephens as CEO, Modern Distribution Management reports. 

Stephens oversaw Motor City Industrial’s February acquisition of EMCO, a Charlotte, NC-based industrial distribution and service business. The deal doubled the size of Motor City Industrial.

His business experience includes 25 years at Fastenal, including the last 15 as regional VP.

Founded in 1954, EMCO provides electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and automation products  throughout the Southeast.
