MW Industries acquired LaVezzi Precision, Inc., which manufactures precision machined components for the medical device industry.
Bloomingdale, IL-based LaVezzi was founded in 1908 as a manufacturer of components for motion picture projectors. In the 1980s the company began manufacturing machined components for cardiovascular devices, orthopedic and dental implants, and metal components for laparoscopic and surgical devices. LaVezzi specializes in high-precision machining of titanium and stainless steel components for applications requiring extremely tight tolerances.
“LaVezzi Precision has a proven history of providing innovative medical component solutions to address demanding customer requirements,” stated MW Industries CEO John Bagnuolo.
LaVezzi joins the MW Medical Solutions brands, and will continue operations at its 90,000 sq ft facility in Bloomingdale. Web: LaVezzi.com
