MW Industries Acquires Mississippi Spring Maker

MW Industries Inc. acquired Mississippi-based Pontotoc Spring, a division of Union Spring & Manufacturing Corp. of Monroeville, PA.

Pontotoc Spring manufactures aftermarket coil springs, as well as metal stampings for industrial, consumer and automotive applications. Allen Roye is general manager.

“We are excited to add its strong operations, employees and customer base and anticipate expanding Pontotoc’s business as part of MW,” stated MW Industries CEO Bill Marcum.

Founded in 1976, MW Industries is headquartered in Logansport, IN, and provides highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners and other precision components to more than 23,000 customers in 35 countries. The company is owned by Genstar Capital and  operates 13 divisions throughout the U.S., serving the transportation, aviation/aerospace, electronic, medical, energy, agricultural and consumer market.
