MW Industries acquired Tri-Star Industries, a manufacturer of precision threaded inserts for plastics.

Founded in 1991, Berlin, CT-based Tri-Star manufactures standard and custom-designed threaded inserts and compression limiters in brass, steel, aluminum and stainless steel for plastic applications. Tri-Star also produces high-volume screw machine products and CNC Swiss precision turned components.
