MW Industries Opens Shanghai Office

Logansport IN-based MW Industries Inc. opened a sales office in Shanghai, China, to pursue business opportunities in Asia. “We intend to service our US-based customers who are sourcing components, locating production and assembly operations in China, as well as sell to China-based manufacturing companies seeking access to our world-class spring making and precision forming technologies,” stated CEO D.R. Sebastian.
Ji Dong was named director of China sales for MW Industries.
MW Industries also signed a manufacturing agreement with Connor Manufacturing Services of Redwood City, CA. Conner will supply precision stampings and tooling from its plant in Suzhou, China, while MW will supply precision engineered springs and other components to Connor.
“This agreement enables us to offer our customers a wider range of products, and can”t help but give us a stronger presence in the Asian market,” noted Conner president Robert Sloss.
