MWFA Marking 65th Anniversary With Columnist Roeper as Speaker

The Mid-West Fastener Association will mark its 65th anniversary on November 10, 2011, with Chicago Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper.
Roeper is co-host of the nationally syndicated movie review program, Ebert & Roeper; co-host of WLS-AM Roe & Roeper” radio talk show and the author of eight books.

MWFA was founded in 1946 as the Chicago Bolt, Nut & Screw Association.

MWFA currently has 160 members and is led by president Beck Moujouros of American Fasteners & Components.

MWFA will present 14 $1,000 scholarships plus the Bill Lang Sr. Memorial Scholarship; XL Screw Corp. Scholarship; David Lebovitz Memorial Scholarship; and Unferth Family Scholarship.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont, IL.
