NAW Publishes “Playbook” for Profit
Distributors who are not growing are “essentially dying in slow motion,” the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence said in announcing results from two years of research on competing for profit. “Growth is imperative,” NAW declared.
The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors published the research study: “Driving Profitable Growth: A Distributor’s Playbook to Generate, Manage and Sustain Competitive Advantage.”
The research into both public and private companies combines analytics from a decade of data from multiple lines of products.
Driving Profitable Growth includes 95 best practices from actual distributors; 40 implementation steps; 60 real-world distributors examples. It provides frameworks for growth strategies, best practices for profitability and blind spots to avoid. Web: naw.org/growth
This is NAW’s fifth study with Texas A&M since 2009. Through the alliance, the Council for Research on Distributor Best Practices was created. Web: naw.org/crdbp
NAW is a Washington DC-based federation of about 100 wholesale distribution associations and thousands of companies.
