ND Industries hired Luis Gonzales as GM of its Arlington, TX, facility. He replaces Dan Conner, who retired.
Gonzales plans to overhaul the production equipment to increase reliability and output.
“We’re always looking for ways to increase operational efficiencies,” stated ND president Mike Garofalo. “Luis brings with him a vast amount of experience streamlining production processes.”
Previously Gonzales had an eight-year role as production manager for LATICRETE International, where he introduced lean practices to seven of their manufacturing facilities, increasing production by an average of 16%. Prior to that he was a production/maintenance manager at a Dura-Tech composite coating processing plant.
Founded in 1955, ND develops and supplies fastener coatings for locking, sealing, masking, lubricating, noise & vibration dampening, and manufactures adhesive and sealant products. ND has 13 U.S. divisions, plus facilities in Taiwan, China and Turkey, and is headquartered at 1000 N. Crooks Rd., Clawson, MI 48017-1003. Web: NDindustries.com
