The next Taiwan International Fastener Show will be April 21-23, 2020, at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.

The 2018 biennial trade show drew 2,193 visitors from 73 countries. The largest delegation came from China, followed by Japan and India. The U.S. was in fourth on number of attendees, followed in order by Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Korea.

The 2018 trade show drew 430 exhibiting companies totaling 1,150 booths. Exhibits included nuts, bolts and screws; manufacturing equipment; fastener tools; meters and instruments; plus wire and raw materials.

Taiwan has been manufacturing fasteners for six decades. The trade show is a half-hour drive from an industry cluster of plants.

Events include a global fastener summit, employment meeting, 1-on-1 procurement meetings and a VIP dinner.

The first Taiwan show was held in 2010 with 190 exhibiting companies totaling 320 booths and 1,488 visitors.

The Show is organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and co-organized by the Kaohsiung City Government. It is implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute.
