Nifco Plans $8.5m Kentucky Plant

Tokyo-based Nifco Inc. plans to establish a new subsidiary, Nifco North America, in the U.S. to manufacture industrial plastic fasteners and components for Japanese OEMs.
Nifco will invest $8.5 million to establish Nifco North America in Kentucky. By 2011, Nifco North America is expected to create around 150 jobs. Hiroshi Takigawa will serve as president of the new subsidiary. \ �2007 FastenerNews.com
