Show management confirmed that the National Industrial Fastener Show/East is moving to Baltimore for 2005.
It will be the 25th anniversary of the NIFS/East show. It was held in Columbus, OH, for 22 years and moved to Orlando, FL, for 2003 and 2004.
The trade show is slated for Friday, May 6, 2005, at the Baltimore Convention Center. Conferences and an opening reception are scheduled for Thursday.
We are confident our exhibitors and show visitors will like Baltimore, general manager Gloria Crase said. It is a fun city with plenty to do, the Inner Harbor is a happening place and the location is so convenient for travel by air and rail.
Show promoters Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire noted the city ‘s proximity to two-thirds of the nations population.
