NORMA Group Opens India Facility

NORMA Group opened its new production plant in Talegaon near Pune, India, on October 27, 2012.
The 6,500 square meter facility will cater to increased demand in India and Asia for connectors and joining elements.

“The opening of this facility is a logical step for us in adjusting our capacities to the growing demand for our joining technology solutions in the Indian market and the entire Asia Pacific region,” stated John Stephenson, COO and President Asia Pacific at NORMA Group.

“In the new facility in Talegaon we will expand our engineering services. This increase means that we can support the design work for NORMA Group in many regions of the world including Australia, Europe, Japan, Korea, and North America.”

Products manufactured at the facility include hose and pipe connecting components like flexible nylon tubing for various applications such as fuel lines and crankcase ventilation. Customers from the aerospace, automotive, railway, shipbuilding, chemical and infrastructure industries will be served from the Talegaon plant.
