Northern Precision Opens New Facility

Northern Precision Ltd. opened a new �500,000 (U.S.$881.390) headquarters on the Durham Lane industrial zone of Doncaster, UK, director Steve Smith announced.
The purpose-designed facility includes administration and sales offices, “flowline” product receipt/quarantine, storage and dispatch area and a product inspection and testing area.
Smith described the new facility as “the springboard for yet more exciting news.”
NP reports its customer base accounts for 44 million fasteners sales of �1.75 million (U.S.$3.1 million) annually. Exports to the U.S., Chile, Portugal, Russia and other countries total 27% of sales.
Northern Precision, founded in 1996 by Arthur Smith and Tony Mortlock, in a house with one bedroom for two desks and another bedroom for stock.
