Continuing its expansion into aerospace fasteners, Novaria acquired The Young Engineers, Inc. (TYE) for an undisclosed sum. TYE designs and manufactures aerospace fasteners and inserts, as well as other aircraft hardware.
“The acquisition of TYE is an integral part of our strategy to expand our portfolio of proprietary and qualified products we offer customers,” stated Novaria CEO Bryan Perkins.
Founded in 1963 by “Cy” and Miki Young, TYE focuses on fasteners for honeycomb panels and composite materials as well as space applications. Its products include potted-in, mechanically attached, floating nut and floor panel fasteners, along with rivet inserts, tensile fasteners and installation tooling. Web: YoungEngineers.com
TYE will continue to operate out of its Southern California facility in Lake Forest, led by former owner and president Pat Wells.
“Incorporating our product line within Novaria is a great combination that will continue the over 50-year history of TYE and allow for additional growth,” Wells said.
