Nylok Canada Marks 10th Anniversary

Nylok Canada Inc. in marking its 10th anniversary Nylok president Max Dorflinger recalled the first 9,000 sq ft building in Mississauga, Ontario with general manager Nilo Urbani Jr. as the only employee.
Dorflinger noted the Canadian subsidiary was opened to meet increasing demand for Nylok’s self-locking nylon patch and powder coating.

Robert Hopson currently directs the Canadian operation.
Three of the first four employees after Urbani continue with Nylok: shift supervisors Wayne Bennett and Juan Cochrane and inside sales manager Lucia Rodrigues.
The Canadian plant processes the entire line of Nylok fastener coatings. In 1998 the Canadian subsidiary introduced the NystaY temporary locating polymer patch for holding fasteners in place during transport, fabrication or assembly.
