G. Douglas Berry, who founded Advance Components Inc. in 1972, died June 12, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene “Chalky” Hollis. Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Berry Cravens (husband Gary Cravens) and Pamela Berry (husband Doug Warren); and four grandchildren.
