Sydenham “Sid” Hardie, 71, died November 22, 2006, in Tampa.
Hardie was a National Fastener Distributors Association past president (1977-1978) and a lifetime member of the organization. In 1966 he became vice president and general manager of The House of Threads, where he worked for nearly two decades. He returned to House of Threads in 1993 and recently retired.
Hardie is survived by his daughters Patricia and Eleanor; sons Preston and Christopher; and seven grandchildren.
