OBITUARY: Weldon Shrum

Weldon J. Shrum, founder and owner of Fastener Supply Company, died April 2, 2009, at age 79. He founded Fastener Supply in 1959 and grew the company to five locations in North and South Carolina. He had been a director of the National Fastener Distributors Association.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Shrum; sons Donnie and Bobby; daughter Carol; and five grandchildren.
