Omni Marketing Inc. acquired the fastener division of North Andover, MA-based Texon USA, Omni president Tim Folmar announced. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Former Texon product manager Rick Fine was named vice president of operations for the newly established Omni Industrial, which will be headquartered in Montgomery, AL.
Folmar told FIN that Omni has broken ground on a new 8,000 sq ft facility in Luverne, AL. The target date for completion is June 1, 2004.
