Online FastenerSuperStore.com Reports January Sales Up 51%
FastenerSuperStore.com reported sales growth nearly 10% in 2009 and January 2010 sales 51% above January a year ago.
President Greg Fields announced the opening of a Southern California facility to improve shipping times to western U.S. customers and extend service hours.
The Camarillo, CA branch is headed by Jeff Estoppey. For the past seven years Estoppey worked in supply chain solutions for Harbor Freight Tools.
Fields said fasteners for the electronics market – including standoffs, spacers and cage nuts – helped spur FastenerSuperStore sales more than 300% in the past three years.
The company now stocks 30,000 parts.
He credited the “intuitive, web-based ordering process” and same day shipping for 98% of orders for the sales growth.
Founded in 1997 as an Internet portal for fastener distributors, FastenerSuperStore has evolved into online outlet for standard fasteners. Fields said more than 18,000 buyers have registered to purchase.
