Pearson Fastener Corporation received 16949:2016 First Edition certification from the International Automotive Task for supplying custom fasteners to automotive manufacturers.
Pearson director of sales Larry Fey said the certification “shows Pearson’s commitment as a world-class supplier by having a quality system in place that drives continuous improvement for our internal and external stake holders.”
Director of operations Paul Chandler explained a goal of IATF certification is to “ensure a supplier’s ability to satisfy its customers and continually improve.”
Chandler added that Pearson also has full Level 3 PPAP documentation, advanced tensile testing, Six Sigma Green Belt leadership and cage code designation as a government contractor for U.S. military.
