PennEngineering announced its Danboro, PA, facility is operational following a fire at the plant on Dec. 12. The fire which began at 1:30 p.m. EST, was contained at approximately 2:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The company is working with the local fire department and regulatory agencies to identify the cause of the fire.

“We are very thankful our emergency procedures were effective, and there were no injuries,” stated president Leonard Kiely. “PennEngineering has a plan in place to rapidly leverage our global resources to maximize manufacturing and business continuity while we assess the impact to our Danboro operations.”

PennEngineering expects minimal delays in filling orders.
