PERSPECTIVE: One Change Here And More to Come

Subscribers will notice the new look to the print edition of FIN. It is the first step in a series of new services for FIN subscribers.

Coming next is a new website to be launched for the 30th anniversary of the first issue of Fastener Industry News published on July 10, 1979, in Ridgefield, CT.

FastenerNews.com began regularly posting news online with the start of the millennium. That decade of articles will eventually be available online to subscribers.

GlobalFastenerNews.com will continue to provide news, the FIN Calendar and industry information.

In addition, the new website will launch with multiple new features to serve the coming generation of fastener leaders. Working with news partnerships developed over the years, GlobalFastenerNews.com will bring more international news to the industry.

Available instantly.

Every day.

Around the clock and around the world.

What won’t change is that FIN will continue to bring the most pertinent and concise news items to you. We dig for the fastener specific news that you won’t find in the Wall Street Journal or any other publication.

An example comes with the annual 2008 FIN Review of North American Fastener Stocks. We’ve delved into company reports and stock analysis to bring the fastener results to FIN subscribers.

The annual FIN Review edition also features Richard Hagan’s 12th annual Top Ten fastener company acquisitions. ©2009 GlobalFastenerNews.com
