Phillips Screw Company promoted Scott Filion to CEO, succeeding Ken Hurley, who will transition to board chair.
Hurley said Filion has already developed a strategic growth plan for Phillips.
Filion has 30 years of industry experience and joined Phillips a year ago as president. He holds a bachelors in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. He was with Velcro USA Inc. for 20 years.
Filion started his career in engineering developing automotive products and processes. He holds 22 patents.
