Phillips Screw Co. hired Scott Filion as president. Filion will assume his responsibilities from Ken Hurley, who will continue as CEO.

Filion brings nearly 30 years of industry experience. He started his career in engineering where he developed products and processes for the automotive industry, and holds 22 patents. Previously Filion worked for 20 years at Velcro USA Inc., including most recently as president.

Filion holds a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA, both from the University of New Hampshire. 

“Scott brings a world of experience to our organization and we are looking forward to his contributions in taking The Phillips Screw Company to the next level,” stated Hurley. “We were fortunate to find not only a person with industry experience but also a person with the right blend of technical and consumer goods to fill this roll.”
