Political Confidence Falls

Fastener industry confidence in the White House on business issues slipped again and now stands at 3.1.
Confidence had peaked at 3.5 at the end of 2000, but edged down to 3.4 at the end of 2001.
Confidence in the U.S. Congress on business issues dropped a notch to 2.6 – its lowest level in the six years confidence has been measured in the FIN Survey. It had been 2.7 at the end of 2001.
