Porteous Fastener Company named Don Haggerty vice president for eastern operations and is opening a eastern distribution center in New Jersey. This newly constructed warehouse will stock 20 million pounds of bulk and packaged fasteners in a high cube configuration that utilizes wire guided lifts in narrow aisles. Bill Flynn is manager of the new Perth Amboy, NJ, branch.
Haggerty also oversees the current Cleveland branch, which now focuses on Midwest. Cleveland area sales manager is Don Belser and branch manager is Frank DeVito.
