Precision Specialties Acquires Adhesives Firm
Precision Specialties president Roger Szafranski acquired Palm Labs Adhesives LLC, a technology-based company that develops, manufactures and markets specialty adhesives and sealants.
Founded in 1990, Palm Labs Adhesives operates a technology center in Hilton Head, SC, and a manufacturing facility in Debary, FL. Web: palmlabsadhesives.com
“Palm Labs is a perfect fit with Precision Specialties’ line of wave springs, belleville springs, bearing locknuts, lockwashers, clamps, threaded inserts and panel fasteners,” Szafranski stated in a press release.
The acquisition expands Precision Specialties’ product capabilities to include threadlockers, bearing and shaft retaining compounds, and other proprietary adhesives for medical, industrial and commercial applications.
Established in 1981 as a precision spring washer provider, Precision Specialties is a master distributor for such brands as Tinnerman Fasteners, Palnut, AVK, SPS Unbrako and Oetiker.
