Product Competition Featured at Fastener Fair

A new “Innovations Showcase” at Fastener Fair Stuttgart will feature new products and technical innovations. Fastener Fair will be held September 14-15, 2005, at Messe Stuttgart in Germany.
Show organizer Jerry Ramsdale described the products nominated for the showcase as “all novel” and said show attendees will “have the opportunity to vote on what they see as the most useful and ground-breaking innovations.”
Products include such new adhesives as an oxygen-compatible anaerobic thread sealant; new tools for blind bolt applications; a rapid-assembly nut; a construction fastener combining the advantages of a collated nail and a threaded fastener; clear polycarbonate washers, nuts and screws; styrene-free resin composition; tooling for blind rivet nuts and screws; and an attachment for drilling machines to set large-diameter blind rivets.
