Production Fastening System Names AWC For Marketing/Distribution Center
New Orleans-based Production Fastening Systems announced AWC Inc. as its marketing and distribution center for the newly launched Tube Separation Assembly (T-SEP), a product that helps reduce and prevent crevice corrosion for pneumatic tubing for offshore / onshore production facilities and petrochemical industries.
With more than 240 employees, AWC offers an experienced staff to support the instrumentation, electrical, and automation industries. Baton Rouge-based AWC operates 15 distribution centers in 5 states in the Southern U.S.
PFS launched the T-SEP product in November of 2009 to help eliminate the crevice corrosion problem caused by current methods of separating parallel runs of pneumatic tubing which allow corrosive elements to gather at the point of separation and cause crevice corrosion of the tubing.
