Purchasing Agent

needed to work in Miami, Florida. We are the largest and oldest fastener company in South Florida. Our customer base includes all of South Florida, the United States, the Caribbean and South America.

 

Duties Include:

Ordering merchandise for inventory
Calling vendors on a daily basis
Find prices for customer quotes
Search for odd or specialty items
Expedite purchase orders, as necessary
Add received merchandise into inventory
Maintain historical reference of supplies by keeping records of items purchased, prices, delivery and shipping costs
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

Requirements:

1+ years experience in fastener industry, previous position in purchasing a plus
Fastener knowledge required
Computer skills—Microsoft Office, etc.
Vendor Relationships
Faspac knowledge a plus
