Imagine working for GE Supply Logistics, a fast-growing National Fastener Distributor, which seeks motivated and experienced Quality Control Inspectors in various locations including San Jose, Dallas, Chicago and Orlando, FL. Attitude and aptitude will enable the successful candidate to perform mechanical and visual receiving & shipping inspection on hardware within all degrees of complexity for one of the world’s most admired companies. Responsibilities include: inspect inbound & outbound materials for kind, condition, and supplier documentation; perform sample lot inspections of drawing characteristics; initiate discrepancy reports and hold notices; maintain training records; maintain equipment calibration; assist in Internal and Supplier Corrective Actions. Qualifications include: AA/Trade School (2 yr. min.) in Quality/Material Composition and various non-destructive testing procedures; 2+ yrs. experience in quality control; excellent mathematics background (i.e. Algebra, Geometry and Statistics); previous quality systems experience.
