Tower Fasteners founded in 1967 and headquartered in Holtsville, NY, is a leader in the field of fastener distribution and inventory management systems. Tower is committed to supplying products from only the highest quality fastener manufacturers in the world. We are currently seeking a QMS Manager based in our Holtsville corporate office to improve and oversee the Quality Department. As a distributor, we must keep up-to-date of changes in customer’s quality requirements and changes to the standards that relate to product compliance.
Normal office hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm. Occasional travel.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have knowledge of Quality principles, standards and methodologies along with supervisory experience. Experience/knowledge of distribution and/or manufacturing industries would be a plus. Candidate must have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire others and guide us through the necessary changes to improve our QMS. Additionally, candidate must have excellent time management & organizational skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required. Individual must also have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
Develop, create and install a culture of Quality throughout the organization
Maintain all the requirements of the ISO9000-2015
Work towards and obtain A9100 certification
Be up to date with the quality institutions that affect our industry
Create an effective QMS to utilize as a sales tool
Serve as a Quality liaison to our customers, suppliers and employees
