Questron Technology Inc. acquired R.S.D. Sales Co. Inc. to increase its European sales.
Questron announced April 6 that it completed the acquisition of Franklin Square, NY-based R.S.D.
Questron CEO Dominic Polimeni said R.S.D. “enhances our presence in the European market and will enable us to provide inventory logistics management services to foreign-based OEM customers and expand our ability to service our existing international OEM customer base.”
Questron paid $3.3 million in common stock for R.S.D.
R.S.D. provides aerospace-related C items and value-added services to OEMs in Europe and had $3.4 million in sales last year.
Polimeni said R.S.D. selling shareholder Robert Diehl will continue to run the business.
Boca Raton, FL-based Questron also reported its first quarter revenues were up 20% over the last quarter of 1999.
“The revenue increase in the first quarter of 2000 results from internal growth attributable to the continuing implementation of inventory logistics management services,” Polimeni said. “We expect that our revenues will grow in the coming quarters as we continue to implement ILM services to new and existing customers.”
