Registration has begun for the December 7-10, 2020, Fastener Training Week in Cleveland.
Upon completion of this training and passing a final exam, attendees will be eligible for the Certified Fastener Specialist designation.
There is a registration discount until November 16.
Given the advanced technical nature, it is recommended that participants have at least two years’ experience in fastener sales, purchasing, manufacturing or quality assurance.
The in-person training week will adhere to all safety regulations required by the state of Ohio, including wearing a mask in public spaces.
The training program based at Solution Industries is designed for distributors, manufacturers, end users and OEMs. It includes learning labs, interactive exercises and quizzes. There will be virtual plant tours.
Topics include: Specifications: Thread and material, Process and dimensional, Quality assurance systems; Lot traceability and test reports; Print reading and tolerances; Thread gaging and dimensional inspection; Torque tension.
Registration is $3,300 per person. There is a $500 discount for NFDA, IFI, MWFA, Pac-West, NCFA, SFA and AIM members. There also is a discount for multiple participants per company. For information: FastenerTraining.org.
