Report: Wire Rod Prices Dropping in Taiwan
Market prices for wire rod in Taiwan have decreased by NT$200~300/ton to NT$19,700~20,100/ton in recent weeks, Yieh Corp. Market News reports.
The development follows Taiwan’s China Steel Corp.’s decision to cut prices of electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rod by NT150/ton for September.
Additionally, CSC will offer normal supply volume instead of limited supply in the previous moths.
During 2014, Taiwan wire rod prices have ranged from a low of NT$19,500/ton to a high of NT$20,300/ton, according to Yieh Corp. Market News.
