Reshoring Initiative Founder to Speak to NEFDA

The founder and president of the Reshoring Initiative will speak to the New England Fastener Distributors Association on bringing manufacturing back to the U.S.
Harry Moser will speak at the November 3, 2011, NEFDA meeting in Sturbridge, MA.
“It is now up to the customers to reevaluate their sourcing decisions and the suppliers to aggressively promote savings from reshoring.” Moser said. He is a 40-year manufacturing industry veteran and retired president of GF AgieCharmilles.

Moser founded the Reshoring Initiative to move jobs back to the U.S.  He was named to Industry Week magazine’s Manufacturing Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Boston Consulting Group predicts the U.S. is expected to experience in the next five years a “manufacturing renaissance as the wage gap with China shrinks.”

The Reshoring Initiative provides information ad analytical tools to help companies compare offshoring and reshoring.  Web: reshorenow.org
