Ryan To Succeed Keyser as Grainger CEO

Grainger president James T. Ryan will succeed Richard Keyser as CEO on June 1, 2008.
Ryan will become the fourth chief executive officer in Grainger’s 80-year history.
Ryan joined the company in 1980, and most recently was named COO in February 2007. He became president in 2006.
Grainger has added more than 38,000 fastener products to its catalog since 2006. Fastener sales helped boost Grainger revenue by $349 million in 2007, with total sales growing 9% to a record $6.4 billion.
Lake Forest, IL-based Grainger supplies MRO products to customers in the U.S. Canada, Mexico and China through 600 branches, 18 distribution centers and about 17,000 employees. Web: grainger.com \ �2008 FastenerNews.com
