Severstal-Metiz Supplying Fasteners for 2014 Olympic Construction
Severstal-Metiz provided the fasteners and welding electrodes for “Luzhniki” Stadium in Moscow
Severstal-Metiz Company has begun delivering high-tensile fasteners for the metal structures for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
“Use of our products in the construction of Olympic facilities is subject to strict quality standards and delivery conditions,” Severstal-Metiz CEO Oleg Veter told “Fasteners, Adhesives, Tool and” magazine. “We are convinced that today we have all that is necessary to deliver products with the required characteristics to our customer and to do it on time. We have new equipment, a team of high-grade specialists, experience in the sphere of additional service and, of course, a commitment to one of the key state projects.”
To date 250 tons of bridge fasteners M22 and M24 sets (bolt, nut and washer) were delivered to Sochi. The whole order calls for delivery of 400 tons of product.
Veter finds Russian fastener manufacturers are prepared to supply products which meet customer’s requirements.
