Switzerland-based SFS Group promoted Urs Langenauer, current head of Automotive North America, to head of the group’s Riveting division, replacing Thomas Bamberger.
Langenauer was also named as a member of the Group Executive Board.
Langenauer has worked at SFS since 1995 and has been responsible for the business activities of Automotive division in North America since 2013.
“Urs Langenauer will use his expertise and experience to strengthen Riveting division and support it in the expansion of the fastener business,” the group stated.
In April, SFS Group acquired Triangle Fastener Corporation of Pennsylvania.
Led by existing management, TFC will operate as a part of the Construction division within the Fastening Systems segment.
TFC was founded in 1977 and specializes in fasteners, tools, sealants and accessories for the commercial construction market. Pittsburgh-based TFC has 23 locations in 15 states, and produced 2018 sales of US$70 million with 200 employees. Web: TriangleFastener.com
