�Ford Fasteners Inc. marks its 40th anniversary in May. Hackensack, NJ-based Ford began manufacturing 410 stainless screws, Type A & B self-tappers in 1963 and expanded to include 410SS thread cutters. The company slogan became �Ford for 410.� Ford also produced 18-8 stainless and aluminum screws. George Cellary, who remains active in the company, founded Ford. Sons Steve Cellary and Chris Cellary run daily operations. Sales manager Bob Dickinson has been with Ford for 27 years. Ford has recently added steel self-drilling screws and high-speed machines that assemble EPDM washers.

�Heads & Threads International announced its 50th anniversary. HTI was founded in 1953 as Heads and Threads Co. in Chicago.
