Atotech North America hired Andrew Pfeifer as business manager responsible for plating, zinc flake and surface pretreatment product lines.

An active member of ASTM F16, Pfeifer has worked as director of new business development at Optimas Solutions and regional sales manager at Wurth Revcar Fasteners.

Rock Hill, SC-based Atotech North America is a division of Atotech, which was founded in 1993 to provide plating chemicals, equipment and services for printed circuit board (PCB), package substrate and semiconductor manufacturing, as well as decorative and functional surface finishing.

Rightway Fasteners
received a 10-year, $287,771 tax abatement for plans to invest $9.85 million in new equipment at its plant in Columbus, IN, The Republic reports.

Rightway Fasteners plans to install 36 pieces of manufacturing equipment by March 2019, GM Ron Miller told The Republic. The company will add 17 positions ranging from $11 – $12 an hour.

Rightway Fasteners also received a tax abatement in November 2016 as part of a $3.9 million investment for a new production line.

Founded in 1991, Rightway Fasteners supplies fasteners to the automotive industry. RFI specializes in cold forming, thread rolling, heat treatment and surface treatment of high torque tension bolts, shafts and pins and supplies specialty screws and other cold formed parts.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) named Würth as Mopar Supplier of the Year 2017 for the economic region EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

“Within the EMEA region, Würth offered innovative ideas in a proactive manner and contributed to developing and expanding DFS business,” stated FCA.

Würth supplies FCA with after sales products, spare parts, corporate workwear and commercial vehicle equipment in the main European countries and is sole partner for selling an original product produced by the automotive manufacturer (carpets for economy and premium car brands).
