Concrete Fastening Systems Inc. president Bob Carlisle launched online sales in 2000 and subsequently has sold 80 million concrete fasteners online to 27,000 customers from all 50 states and 23 countries.
“Our online sales were established based on the principle that an individual in a rural location could order one box of product and receive the same benefit of savings from buying direct as our multi-million dollar customers who order pallets of product,” Carlisle said.
The online service includes 24/7 live chat support services and same-day shipping.
“Any company contemplating building an e-commerce site to sell products, really needs to focus on making the site easy for customers to use and at a reduced cost,” Carlisle said.
“If you fail to do either, your customer will continue to buy from your competitors, big box stores and distributors that do.”
