Arnold Industries announced the opening of Arnold Industries Cork Ltd., executive vice president Joel Roseman stated. Arnold Industries Cork will supply fasteners and electronic components to Europe and Asia from its warehouse in the Eastgate Industrial Park in Cork, Ireland.

Billy Newton has been named managing director of the new facility.

Atlantic Fasteners received Lockheed Martin’s STAR Supplier Award. Only 36 of the Lockheed division’s 4,625 vendors received the award.

Bisco Industries promoted Nemiko Duran to Mid-South area manager.

Duran began working at Bisco over ten years ago. She was promoted to manager of the Arizona facility in 2008 and led the team to a record year.

Duran will be responsible for managing several areas, including Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky and Oklahoma. She will report directly to Laurie Gebaroff, Southern regional manager.

NCFA Hosting Trade Attorney Speaking on Antidumping October 28

An international trade attorney will speak to the North Coast Fastener Association on the proposed U.S. anti-dumping tariffs on China and Taiwan.

NCFA president George Hunt III said the program will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in Cleveland.

Mark Lehnardt of Lehnardt & Lehnardt, LLC, has been an attorney for both the US Department of Commerce and the US Court of International Trade. His primary focus is antidumping and countervailing duty law. His specialties also include international trade litigation at the U.S. Court of International Trade and the WTO.
