Barbarotto Machinery is the new North American sales representative for ImanPack Packaging, Fred Barbarotto announced.
ImanPack is setting up a new U.S. service center. The Barbarotto office in New York is the new ImanPack North American headquarters and will handle equipment sales, spare parts orders and technical service coordination.
ImanPack develops packaging for fasteners in cartons, bags and furniture assembly kits.

Peplinski has 18 years of fastener experience, including executive positions in sales and procurement, including Heads & Threads International and Fastenal.

Industrial Rivet & Fastener Company named Jim Howard to head the new North Carolina distribution center in addition to being national sales manager.

Modern Plating Corp. was approved for Chrysler PS10180 high corrosion resistant trivalent zinc nickel black finish.
Modern’s finish exceeds the PS10180 salt spray testing specifications, which require no white corrosion at 240 hours and no red corrosion at 1,000 hours, sales manager John Nordlof explained.
Modern uses MacDermid Inc.’s ZinKlad finishes.

Permanent Technologies named Patrick Tremblay as senior advisor following the departure of CEO Pierre Dionne, who was appointed in July.
Tremblay has experience in risk management, finance and strategic consulting.
Tremblay previously held positions at Bombardier, a Tier One U.S. government OEM and general contractor. He also held senior finance and consulting management positions at Deloitte Consulting, KPMG and McGladrey.
Tremblay said he’ll work to promote TineLok, the company’s product, while looking for Dionne’s replacement.
In the interim, chairman and co-founder Loren Ball will take over as president.

Precision Threaded Products moved to a new factory.
The manufacturer of precision threaded fasteners for aerospace engines moved from West Hartford, CT, to a16,000 sq ft facility in Bristol, the Bristol Press reported.
Formerly known as the Bland Co., Precision Threaded Products relocated from a 6,000 sq ft structure to a build-to-suit facility.
Owner Paul Nichols told the Press that he’d been set to move into an existing building in Windsor, but the deal stalled. That’s when the city of Bristol made its pitch, which reportedly included a $75,000 city economic development grant and five years of tax abatements.
