Tree Island Steel announced two executive appointments.

Remy Stachowiak was named Vice President of Sales. He will report to CEO Dale MacLean and will lead sales, marketing and customer service for Tree Island. 

Stachowiak has a technical background in mechanical engineering and sales and marketing. He most recently served as COO and President of STT Stanco.

James Miller was appointed VP of Corporate Development. Miller will handle strategic planning and procurement initiatives, inventory management processes, major supplier contract management and Tree Island’s China operations. 

Miller previously served as Director of Strategic Business Investments with VanCity Group, Canada’s largest credit union.
